Pros

Good relationships among colleagues, relaxed dress code, fruit available, movie days and recreational activities (after work hours, with compensatory leave)

The boss only thinks about turnover all day, so people with no passion for agriculture can work here too

Cons

1. You have to serve as the duty person [ordering lunch boxes, taking out the trash, cutting fruit...] and do cleaning (CEO and COO are exempt); this is not mentioned at all during the interview.

2. Officially, work starts at 9:00, but 【you are required to arrive at the office by 8:50】. Anyone who arrives late has to be the duty person for three days (CEO and COO are exempt).

3. Unlimited responsibility system: The workload for marketing/customer service/procurement is heavy, while the pay is low and does not match the working hours.

4. No overtime pay or compensatory leave. Or rather, they say there is overtime pay, but if you apply for it, you will be called in for a meeting, making it effectively nonexistent.

(Content of the meeting: The company wants employees to have work-life balance; overtime pay is not meant to be used this way, blah blah blah. Then, when you work less overtime, you will be called in for another meeting and asked, “Do you think the effort you’ve put in is enough?” WTF?!)

5. The boss likes employees who work hard and endure hardship, and has a very strong need for control~~~

6. Meetings are held during employees’ lunch breaks; Line messages are sent after work; even when you request leave, you will be questioned about every detail.

7. If an interviewee asks about the salary, the boss generally will not hire them (you must say that you are a lucky person~ The boss likes people who know how to be grateful).

8. There are no systems or procedures; everything is decided by the CEO and COO (the COO often says: “Because I’m the COO.”)

9. Some people may mistakenly think this is a company that cares about the land... They are completely mistaken.

10. Employees are not respected: “XXX, come here for a moment...” Is it so hard to say “please”?

11. They claim that everyone can freely express their opinions, but when your ideas conflict with the boss’s, you will often be met with a sour face, so be careful.

12. They claim to be a startup, but the boss’s management mindset is quite traditional.
