The HR staff were quite polite,

but they didn't give the job applicant any space or opportunity to speak.

I was completely dumbfounded.

I clearly applied for a full-time position, and the posting said that assignments would be based on the individual's expertise and preferences.

But as soon as they called, they asked whether I could do telemarketing for credit cards and loans.

Is there really a need to recruit people by deceiving them like this?
