Retail staff—
The atmosphere among colleagues is harmonious.
Work is relatively unrestricted (except at department stores).
The company's back-office support is very poor.
The repair department often makes mistakes, making it difficult for frontline staff to handle customers' problems.
The boss loves making grand promises, often failing to deliver on what was said, and also likes drinking.
Store resources are limited; the company cannot provide much, so you have to rely on your own efforts.
The working hours are ridiculously long—basically starting at 220 hours, with the longest reaching 230.
The salary looks quite good at first glance, but basically your base salary is under 24,000. The rest comes from things like meal allowances, perfect-attendance bonuses, and position allowances, bringing it to around 30,000. After labor and health insurance deductions, you are left with only around 28,000.
The sales bonuses are pathetically low. For sales above 200,000, you only get 1%; at 300,000, 2%. Do you think 400,000 gets you 3%? No! It is still 2%.
The company's sales department is truly awful. Most of the people in charge are long-time employees, and they do nothing to control distributors' price-cutting.
So if you are just looking for a temporary stopgap job, choose this place.
A bunch of ridiculous things happen every so often, and the miscellaneous tasks never end.
The company is so inexplicably absurd that you will start questioning your life.
