Although this happened more than a year ago, this is the company I have encountered that made me the most upset. I posted this on another website before, and I’m posting it here on Tianyan Review as well.
Interview questions:
Q. Various far-fetched questions unrelated to the profession
Interview process
This company sent me a notification inviting me to an interview. When I arrived at the company, there were three interviewers: one was brought in to learn how to conduct interviews, one middle-aged woman kept asking pointless questions, and one man stared intently at my résumé. When it was time to ask questions, he asked things that others had already asked. The middle-aged woman thought she was very professional and wanted to test people’s ability to answer questions by asking pointless questions, so I said, “How much my family can save each month is none of your business, is it?” They didn’t ask any professionally relevant questions and kept asking questions like that. When I said that the job description was somewhat vague, she became offended and said that she had written it very carefully, but one question from me exposed the flaw.
I don’t think a company that employs these people as interviewers can be very good. I traveled from far away, so having my time wasted like this was really frustrating.
