There are many cliques. Upper management only values Marketing and BD; other departments are merely tools. Watch out for those long-timers who have been here for four years—they lack ability and only know how to block others and take credit. There is a significant gap in staffing: some people have been here for four or five years, but almost everyone with two or three years has left. There are many, many new faces with less than a year at the company. Don’t expect to learn much here. The so-called startup is just a facade; its governance model is no different from that of a traditional company.
