1. You can enjoy a drink twice a week.
2. Nothing else.
1. The boss gives employees no work to do, then asks them, “How can you have nothing to do?” You have to think of something to do yourself.
2. The boss values the work progress chart more than the actual results. Seeing things written down puts them at ease—be careful, because failing to write something down might get you fired!
3. They spare neither time nor cost, and profitability is unimportant. For a simple health food package, they are willing to wait for paper to travel all the way from Germany, using every printing technique available because they believe that is what makes a high-quality design. It does not matter if the boss does not make money, but it matters to the employees.
4. You can fall out with every designer. The boss believes that being right means being right, and apparently thinks it is impressive not to pay the printing company’s proofing fee.
5. All the products are the same; only the packaging changes. Same substance, different packaging.
6. Having money makes them willful: “What’s wrong with making changes?” This statement is a huge no-no! They pay employees’ salaries, so they feel entitled to keep changing everything until they are satisfied.
7. The boss likes to whisper with the marketing X, gossiping about the company, and has even been caught by employees.
8. It is truly absurd to put someone with zero advertising experience in charge of design, marketing, and editing.
9. The boss is a mama’s boy.
10. They force you to work overtime, but suspect employees of watching videos just to get by. They are extremely paranoid.
11. If you like being treated as a multifunctional slave, this is the place for you.
