Pros

Female employees have uniforms, so you don't have to think about what to wear to work.

The year-end and mid-year bonuses are fairly decent.

Cons

1. Extremely exploitative. Work ends at 5:30 p.m., but I have never left on time, and there is no overtime pay. There is at least half an hour of overtime every day, but supervisors (OR colleagues) clock out for you before 6:00 p.m. To apply for overtime pay, you have to submit an application in the company system, write an explanation, get your supervisor's approval, and so on. It's incredibly troublesome—who would dare apply?

2. Even back-office employees are required to participate in group sales, which is completely unreasonable. We're already busy enough at work, yet we still have to work overtime and go out to promote insurance, credit cards, and funds after work or on our days off. Isn't sales supposed to be the job of the sales staff?

The main point is that there is no commission even if you make a sale. The company calls it a “branch office quota responsibility,” but you have no choice but to do it because it affects your year-end bonus.

3. The sales staff are treated as the most important, while all other back-office employees are treated like dirt (especially sales assistants and underwriting staff). People speak rudely in all kinds of situations, and whenever something goes wrong, it's always the back-office employees' fault—they say your work is inefficient and that you're careless.
