1. Travel to various places throughout Taiwan to organize events. (Sometimes you have to leave early in the morning, often need to carry heavy objects, and basically don’t get home until after 10 or 11 p.m.)
1. Small scale, inadequate systems, and disorganized internal information.
2. The benefits and bonus system is completely different from what was discussed during the interview; they will first make grand promises to you.
3. The company’s management department and some employees are relatives of the owner, so unfair situations are inevitable. (The company has only seven employees.)
4. The management department scolds people without distinguishing right from wrong and may even engage in personal attacks. Management also talks badly about people behind their backs and points out their faults without proposing improvements.
5. The employee turnover rate is extremely high; the average tenure is less than six months.
6. If you do not work overtime voluntarily, you are not considered a good employee, and there is no overtime pay even when you do work overtime.
7. The company’s peak season is during the year-end banquet event period; once the events end, employees are laid off before the Lunar New Year.
8. There are no so-called high bonuses, no birthday cash gifts, no year-end bonus, and no employee trips.
9. Be careful: you may be laid off at any time when you are close to completing three months. (If you have worked for less than three months, advance notice is not required for dismissal, so they may tell you to leave without any warning on the same day.)
10. Overall, the work environment is highly stressful. To those of you considering joining this company, good luck.
