You can learn real e-commerce here, but the pace of work is very fast. That’s fine for me, though, because I’ve always liked work that involves trying new things and embracing change. At my previous job at a quasi-government organization, I did the same things every day and had to keep doing repetitive tasks—it was incredibly boring. Now that I’m at Shop123, I’m quite happy. You have to be highly energized and focused during working hours. The supervisors and the boss are always teaching us because they’re afraid we won’t know how to do things. This is also the first time I’ve seen a founder put their own business card and mobile number in every meeting room, probably because they’re worried that we won’t provide good service. Hopefully, customers can give feedback directly and have it reach the highest level of the company. There are good and bad sides, of course. If you love e-commerce, this is the right company for you. If you’re just looking to slack off, you’d better buckle down.

Actually, it would sometimes be better to relax a little at work. Don’t keep chasing customers all the time—customers still want to make money, after all. You don’t necessarily have to know a lot about e-commerce; give customers some space to learn gradually.
