Internal employee, full-time consultant
1. The base salary is low, but the bonuses and commissions are high. The performance pressure is significant. The first year is the most difficult and the lowest-paying, but once you get into a steady rhythm, it becomes increasingly easier, and you can save quite a bit of money. Earning over NT$1 million a year is not too difficult.
2. There are many opportunities to interact with senior executives from companies of all sizes, both domestically and internationally, making it suitable for developing business communication and commercial thinking.
3. You need to professionally interact with a large number of people, so you become very familiar with the industry as a whole while also honing your professional communication skills.
4. The salary and benefits system is clearly defined, and there is quite a lot of annual leave. You can take it whenever you want, and no one will nag you about it.
5. The work is demanding, but the experience is solid. After working there for a few years, it is actually quite easy to find a job elsewhere.
1. I feel that the company lacks institutionalized channels for review and feedback. There is no direct, anonymous, or public channel for expressing and discussing dissatisfaction with company policies.
2. Many policies are constrained by the regional headquarters, but I imagine this is the case for most foreign companies.
3. There is a lack of a comprehensive internal training system. New hires often have to start working as soon as they join and learn on the job, which makes it easy to offend people at the beginning.
4. The performance pressure is significant, and turnover is high.
