1. No clocking in required. Work starts between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. and ends between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. At noon, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., just go eat when you’re hungry and take about an hour for lunch.
2. Whether colleagues, supervisors, or the boss, everyone is very approachable. There’s none of the distance you usually find at large companies. When I first joined, I couldn’t tell who was a supervisor and who was a colleague without asking. Most employees are around 20–35 years old, so the team is very young overall :D
3. The office environment is beautiful and open-plan, with no barriers between us and the people next door. You can sit anywhere in the office, and there are lots of snacks. You can also chat and listen to music.
4. After working here for half a year, you get 15 days of annual leave. Other benefits, overtime pay, and so on are all provided in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. If you don’t submit an overtime form, your supervisor will even gently remind you to do so, haha (Supervisor: Hurry up and submit the overtime form to me!!). You can freely choose between overtime pay and compensatory leave ^^
5. Many former Yahoo employees work here, and every one of them is incredibly capable! People who like digital advertising can really learn a lot. They’re all very willing to share their knowledge and teach everyone. New employees also receive training when they join; department heads and even the boss personally teach the courses until you understand everything. There are also fitness and English classes available during lunch.
1. Excel is used every day, so people who hate pivot tables should think twice (It’s okay if you only know the basics; your colleagues are all very willing to teach you.)
2. It’s a responsibility-based system, so you can only leave after finishing your work. (However, supervisors constantly adjust everyone’s workload, and you can speak up if you feel your workload is too heavy.)
3. Digital advertising often involves using Excel to calculate various figures, so it’s better to have good logical thinking and math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are all you need, haha). If you hate numbers, don’t apply XD
