The interview atmosphere in Kaohsiung was very relaxed. They asked for a self-introduction and wanted to understand my salary expectations and how I would like to develop in the future. I was able to raise any questions I had.
When I asked, I was told that any training could only take place after work hours, so it would not be paid. However, they emphasized that everything complied with the Labor Standards Act. It felt like they wanted to find someone who would agree with this and would not report them to the labor bureau because of differences in “understanding.”
