A cup of tea was provided.
The interview thank-you email was sent very quickly, which was quite efficient.
1. The position I interviewed for was a .NET engineer. There was a hands-on test divided into frontend and SQL sections. What was the purpose of testing the frontend? The SQL questions were also unclear; only after I finished did they tell me the complete questions. In reality, I hadn't finished by the end, yet they told me the manager thought it was OK. They were clearly deceiving me.
2. The HR manager who conducted the interview asked questions that were very intrusive and unrelated to the job.
3. During the interview, the technical manager did not know what you would actually be doing. They only told you about tasks you might perform and the work handled by departments to which you might be assigned.
4. The HR manager seemed very proud of the company. They enthusiastically introduced the company and emphasized that the technical manager was a foreign national, which seemed to reflect an excessive admiration for foreigners.
My overall impression was that we were just wasting each other's time. If the hands-on test was not satisfactory, they could have said so directly instead of hiding it. Overall, the interview was extremely long (the first round); including the test, you should set aside approximately three hours.
