The daily registered-mail cutoff at 17:30 is relaxed, and once it’s over, you can go straight home.
Under the leadership of Mr. Hsiao, the boss, I felt an inexplicable sense of fear almost every day. Aside from the frequent questioning and angry scolding during inventory checking and shipping, he also often used sarcastic language when instructing employees on checking and maintaining company tools. I never felt that employees were valued in the slightest. If you do something well, it is considered what you should do; if you do it poorly, you can expect to return to the company and endure a harsh reprimand. The water we drank was often water that had been boiled the previous day.
