The interview process is rigorous.
The interview was too subjective. There were three interviewers at the time; one of them played on their phone from the moment they entered until the end. The questions asked by the others were all:
Who is your father? Who exactly is your father?
What is your birthday? After finding out your zodiac sign, they would still say, "Oh~~um... I see," as if using zodiac signs to select candidates were more accurate.
Overall, I think that although the CEO may often flaunt the Google logo, the people underneath have not really learned much of its spirit. They need to take an HR course...
