I rarely find an interview unpleasant....

The interview felt like an investigation into my personal and family background, and made me feel very disrespected. It’s possible that I just happened to encounter a problematic interviewer.

They kept repeating the same questions....or constantly denying the interviewee’s impressions based on their own opinions (it felt a bit like saying, “You just like noodles,” and the interviewer might respond, “What’s so good about noodles? Please correct your opinion. Rice is better”—something similarly absurd). The interviewer I encountered actually struck me as someone with very limited knowledge and experience.

What I’m trying to say is, does interviewing a small-time part-time worker really require such an investigation into their personal and family background? (Do you want me to tell you about my family’s assets?) It was really quite baffling....
