The colleagues in my department are all very nice, but the manager is not okay.

There are far too many things to complain about.

1. Working overtime endlessly without complaint is routine; working beyond regular hours is commonplace. Colleagues even treat you like an oddity if you do not work overtime—their servile mentality is remarkably strong.

2. A truly disgusting culture of flattery. You are also expected to drink and sing karaoke with the chairman or general manager. Although senior executives say you do not have to force yourself, the looks in their eyes and the atmosphere they give off actually convey a strong negative attitude of “you’re done for if you dare not come.”

3. Everyone from managers to frontline employees at this company works extremely hard because senior management does not treat employees like human beings at all.

4. All show on the outside, rotten within. The company buys a bunch of online advertisements that consumers are actually too lazy to look at, yet it smugly claims they are so creative. In outsiders’ eyes, it is a company that is full of crap, wastes money, and has an extremely inflated sense of itself.

5. It repeatedly emphasizes that there is not enough budget and repeatedly cuts staff, leaving the remaining employees to do the work of several people each—a classic case of “women are treated like men, and men are treated like beasts.”

6. The turnover rate is extremely high. Talented people are strongly advised not to come here and waste their time. This is a lousy company that is not worth investing your youth and life in.
