Pros

While I was employed, there was a great supervisor. Unfortunately, he also left the company.

Cons

The CEO opened a restaurant and required all cloud-service employees to help with the opening ceremony on weekends (cleaning, directing traffic, photography, and the like~~), without any compensation or compensatory leave. About a year after I joined, the company only began providing normal days off after a labor inspection by the Labor Bureau; before that, leave was not provided in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. At another branch, the CEO said to employees, “After you entered society, did your father give you NT$30,000 a month?? I give that to you—doesn’t that make me greater than your father??” Software engineers at the Taipei branch suddenly became marketing managers, and then were laid off a few months later for poor performance. The company said it would develop an online store platform, hired many salespeople to prospect every day, and even held industry-style briefing sessions, but the results were actually poor, so it laid off more than half of the sales staff within a year. During the early development of the “揪X platform,” because performance was too poor, employees were forced to spend money at participating stores, exceeding a specified minimum amount, without any subsidies. During my two years there, the entire company moved at least four times. This was because the company would suddenly hire many employees (requiring one move), then quickly lay them all off (requiring another move); each time, it was simply moving from one floor to another or from one side of the same floor to the other, and each move took an entire day. Later, when the company developed an online shopping mall business and started livestreaming, employees were forced to like and share during the livestreams, and supervisors would even call out employees by name afterward.
