The interviewer kept being deliberately difficult, apparently trying to drive down the candidate’s asking price:
1. The interviewer was late, yet had the nerve to complain that the candidate had too many questions and say that time was precious.
2. They lacked professional knowledge but spoke as if they were an authority. For example: Were they proud that the brand’s keywords ranked on the first page?
3. They dismissed the candidate’s past experience and even blurted out that a certain task was very easy. They had never done it themselves yet dared to say that—classic outsider thinking.
4. The job description did not match the interview. It listed certain skills as requirements, but during the interview they completely dismissed them. So was the description written based on the writer’s mood?
5. The overall conversation was extremely disrespectful toward the interviewee. If they felt the candidate was not a fit, they should not have gone through the trouble of inviting them to interview, wasting both parties’ time.
