They say the working hours are flexible, but everyone works at least 200 hours a month.

Coming in after 10 a.m. and leaving at midnight is perfectly normal.

There is neither overtime pay nor compensatory leave. It’s as bad as it gets.

If you leave work around 7 p.m., which they consider too early, the department director will come and give you a hard time, telling you to work overtime on weekends.

There is no onboarding training. After leaving you to fend for yourself for a week, they expect you to start working independently.

They always say you have written too few test cases. (If new hires aren’t taught how to do it, how are they supposed to? I’m completely baffled.)

They keep dumping cases on you and expect you to work yourself to death—that’s the whole idea.
