Two days off per week. Previously, public holidays were also days off, and there were consecutive holidays as well. You leave work on time, and overtime can be compensated with time off in lieu. The company atmosphere is good, and the work pressure is not high—as long as you keep up with the schedule, it’s fine.
Salary is based on educational background; university graduates receive a set amount.
They say it’s NT$28,000, but that total consists of a NT$22,000 base salary plus bonuses, meal allowance, and perfect-attendance pay. After labor and health insurance deductions, it comes to around NT$26,000.
When I joined, they said there would be an annual evaluation. It was supposed to be a test of employees’ understanding of the company’s products, and passing it would result in a raise. However, I never encountered this after joining. Later, they changed their explanation and said that employees could apply for a raise if they achieved a breakthrough.
The annual settlement is in August, not at the end of the year, so people who join the company after August don’t receive a year-end bonus at the end of their first year~
