Workplace reviews and discussion: 好市多股份有限公司

The conversation was quite pleasant, and they did not look down on your previous profession.

When I was supposed to go for a second interview, I called to say that I wouldn’t be going due to personal considerations (it was extremely difficult to get through by phone 😔). Then, a week later, I received a notification letter. It was just a photocopied standard rejection thank-you letter. What made me uncomfortable was that the address on my résumé was my rental address, but the letter was sent to the address on my membership account—and they even got my name wrong…

When I told my friends, most of them felt it was not OK. How were they allowed to look up my membership information? I don’t know whether that’s allowed or not; I just felt really bad about it.

I feel that their HR management needs to be strengthened.

A friend also applied for a cashier position and was notified about an interview. When they arrived, they were asked, “Can you operate a forklift?” They had applied for a position handling goods at a pharmacy… But when they called to invite them to the interview, they never mentioned it. The job application message sent through the employment website also clearly showed that they hadn’t applied for the wrong position @-@
