A half-month salary bonus is paid in each of the three bonus periods. Annual leave follows foreign-company practice: employees receive 10 days after less than one year of service. Christmas is a holiday, and whenever a make-up workday falls on a holiday, no make-up work is required.
Most positions are occupied by senior partners, whose design capabilities are generally weak, making promotion difficult. The issue of excessive working hours has never been resolved: there is neither compensatory leave nor overtime pay in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. Engineering takes precedence over design; designers with strong design skills are not recommended to apply.
