I am a senior employee who is currently working here. After reading these comments, I remained silent for a long time and finally decided to share my thoughts. I do not want to argue with the previous comments; I only want to explain why I have stayed here for so many years. First, regarding salary and bonuses, multiple factors must be taken into consideration, including a person’s position, performance evaluation, abilities, education and experience, and contributions. I’ll leave it to everyone to think about this rationally.
There are many activities: The company’s activities are all carefully planned by colleagues, who often come up with creative and interesting ideas. I normally would never try many of these things, but through the company’s activities, I have experienced many new things. I have had a lot of fun here.
There are plenty of learning opportunities: There are many opportunities to learn here. In addition to the internal training provided by the company, I also completed my master’s degree here, applied for company subsidies, and signed a retention agreement. I have attended external training courses subsidized by the company. Although I have to write a report after returning, that was my own choice. Everyone knows that learning can be exhausting, but it is exhilarating when the knowledge you acquire becomes part of you and can be used to help solve problems at work.
A warm and caring environment: This workplace embraces diversity, cares for disadvantaged people, and has friendly colleagues who help one another. The supervisors are strict but also warm. I once took unpaid leave for health reasons, and my supervisor found short-term staff to share my workload so that I would not have to worry about burdening others. I am very grateful for that.
A great deal of freedom in the work environment: There is a lot of freedom here. You can chat, wear headphones and listen to music, move around freely, eat while working, join group orders for breakfast or afternoon tea, and even work standing up if you want—no one will stop you. However, if you are not a self-disciplined person, you should not try this lightly.
You have to experience a place’s strengths and weaknesses for yourself. If, like me, you enjoy learning and trying new things, are not afraid of challenges, and like eating at work, you can give it a try. However, the expected workload, work pressure, and strict requirements from clients still exist; you will have to rely on your own wisdom and abilities to deal with them.
The cons section cannot be left blank.
