When I first joined the company, I was full of enthusiasm and thought I could make a difference.

But I quickly realized that was just an illusion.

As for the pros and cons:

Pros:

1. I handled a wide variety of tasks, so I learned many skills outside my field of study.

2. Colleagues who genuinely do their work are united and help and cooperate with one another.

Cons:

1. Responsibilities are unclear, and departments keep passing the buck when working together.

2. Information is unclear, yet employees are blamed for not understanding how the company operates.

They do not respect employees’ expertise or privacy.

They say discussions are open, but then monopolize the work.

Offering suggestions is no match for a single word from the boss’s wife.

They spend all day imagining that employees want to oppose the company and the boss.

Why not instead think about why employees have complaints?

Making mistakes themselves is fine—as long as they simply push all the blame onto employees.

They unilaterally demand that employees be dedicated to the company, yet their actions constantly drive employees away.

They really think they have great leadership skills.

There’s a reason they’ve had the same positions open for years.

If I had to say what valuable memories I gained at the time, it would probably be:

Getting to know many people.

That’s it.
