It is a small company, a small company with five or six people.
I applied for the position of graphic design assistant. The HR manager was very friendly, but the hiring process was a little too quick, so I kept feeling puzzled. I was notified about the interview on Tuesday, interviewed on Wednesday, and notified that I had been hired on Thursday.
During the interview, besides a simple introduction and reviewing my portfolio, the person in charge asked me a marketing-related question (if you were a 3M manager today, how would you sell one more scrub sponge?). However, my answer was not ideal. The person in charge said I could look for the answer after returning home and email it to him. As soon as I returned to my residence after the interview, I immediately searched for information and emailed the company. The next day, I received a hiring notification.

After receiving the hiring notification, I asked about the exact salary. The HR manager replied, “approximately NT$27,000,” but did not clearly explain the other items (such as the overtime system or labor and health insurance). I therefore asked whether there was an official offer that could explain the salary structure. She replied, “Could you send the company a sample for reference?” However, I was a recent graduate and did not have any offer samples from other companies on hand. Even if I had, it would not have been appropriate to send one to her. I consequently did not reply for two days, after which the company proactively emailed me to say, “This job may not be suitable for you.”

And that was how I was rejected.
