Wistron used to be very close by, in Building A, so it was very convenient to interview after work or sneak away from work for an interview.
The hiring department said that transferring from Wistron to Wistron NeWeb counts as an internal transfer, and company policy prohibits discussing salary; seniority is carried over. I also asked whether the bonus could continue to be based on my seniority at Wistron. The hiring department said they had never handled anyone from Wistron and did not know how to answer. A week later, I received a rejection letter. At least it was not a silent rejection. I hope this experience is helpful to Wistron employees.
