Higher pay than the industry average
1. Employees are treated like long-term laborers (overtime is not paid; they say it is compensated with time off in lieu)
2. The owner and managers often think the world revolves around them (they even expect employees to handle their personal errands, which they consider more important than work-related matters)
3. Whenever your response to an issue is not what they want, they repeatedly threaten you by saying that another company would have fired you already (yet they never actually fire you, instead constantly engaging in sarcastic and derisive workplace remarks)
4. They believe the department is underperforming and are always trying to cut expenses (in reality, the manager’s expenses have long exceeded the entire department’s prescribed entertainment budget)
5. They say they want to improve work processes, but in fact, whenever an issue is raised, they brush it off by saying, “It’s not my responsibility” or “I don’t know.”
