Pros

I am still currently employed (working for the company’s own brand), and I can’t help but share the current situation with everyone─

In the past:

You could freely express your opinions and ideas, with plenty of opportunities and room to try new things.

You could work on diverse areas of online marketing and e-commerce, and even plan around the brand’s core, strengthening your abilities and portfolio.

The supervisor would vigorously discuss things with you. Although stern, the interactions were energetic, and if you had a valid point, the supervisor would acknowledge it.

The supervisor would provide capable employees with reasonable, smooth opportunities for promotion.

After a certain female manager joined the Brand Department (those joining the Brand Department, please be careful):

You do not need to use your brain at all; just do whatever she says, and your brain can get plenty of rest.

No matter how you perform, as long as you are not someone she brought from her previous company, you will not be recognized. You can learn early about the warmth and coldness of human relationships.

You can barely tell people that you have worked in e-commerce and online marketing, but in reality, good opportunities will never be given to you. They will only go to people from her former company whom she brought in. Those people can claim to have worked in e-commerce without doing much of anything, so the cost-performance ratio is actually quite high.

You can keep arriving late, because she will arrive even later than you.

You can hear all kinds of vulgar profanity and learn about local culture.

You may be replaced at any time, even if you perform well, though you can receive a little severance pay.

Cons

In the past:

The supervisor was somewhat stern, but was actually focused on the issue rather than the person. If you had a valid point, the supervisor would strongly support you and even help advocate for resources from higher management.

After a certain female manager joined the Brand Department (those joining the Brand Department, please be careful):

She takes credit for achievements and shifts poor results onto colleagues or predecessors, taking the opportunity to replace people and bring in former colleagues who lack ability and are rather rude.

No matter how many ideas you have, they cannot stand up to one swear word from her. Once she starts speaking, do not even think about expressing your ideas.

No matter how hard the employees below her work or how complete their ideas and plans are—even if she has approved the plans—she will never argue her case or advocate for resources from higher management. She uses vulgar language constantly with employees, but is as obedient as a cat when dealing with those above her.

She joins forces with another female manager to control all the power, and is also very good at bullying other managers. If you happen to work under a manager being bullied, you will be disliked along with them.
