I saw a job posting on 104 for a position as a comprehensive financial consultant at a well-known foreign bank. Immediately after applying, I received a call within 30 minutes inviting me to an interview. When I arrived for the interview and finished introducing myself, they told me that I lacked sufficient experience in this area and asked whether I would consider another position: “Mortgage Loan Sales.” I thought it was strange—if the issue was work experience, shouldn’t they have been able to see that from my résumé? If I didn’t meet the requirements, why invite me to an interview? So I immediately declined on the spot. As a result, the consultant surnamed Chiu appeared impatient and said, “How do you know if you don’t go to the interview? How are you any different from everyone else?” It was really frightening... Their attitude changed completely right away. I absolutely do not recommend this company. There are far too many shitty job opportunities, and they are almost all disposable sales positions.
