It’s still a fairly large company, so it sounds better when you tell people where you work.

I’m in sales. Basically, whether the job is bearable or not is 80% determined by the managers and section chiefs, with the remaining 20% being your coworkers. Sales staff have their own assigned projects, but the company still expects you to sell a bunch of products from other departments. They call it a way to earn a little extra, but just listening to them complain every week is exhausting. The products are so bad—why the hell force us to sell them? There are tons of alternatives outside that completely outperform them. Overtime every day, basically 11–12 hours minimum (mandatory). On weekends, we often have to inspect the market and take photos to show management. It’s a huge waste of time. They really love putting on a show. And somehow customer renewals don’t count as salespeople’s deals—they count as the company’s!!?? In simple terms, you just have to keep developing new customers over and over again. It’s fucking stupid.
