進聯工業股份有限公司
Pros

The company seems to be quite large.

Cons

When I initially applied to Lianjin, they proactively invited me to interview for a purchasing assistant position. As I recall, the interview started at 2 p.m. and did not end until nearly 6 p.m. The four-hour interview was not because I had that much to talk about with the interviewer. The test alone took me 2.5 hours: three full double-sided sheets of aptitude tests, three full double-sided sheets of intelligence tests, and two full double-sided sheets of written-response questions. It was really a lot. After I finished and handed in the tests, HR made me wait another 10 minutes. Halfway through the interview, HR suddenly had something to attend to and left temporarily, making me wait another 10 minutes. Then the actual interview lasted about an hour. The HR interview had no clear focus. None of the questions made me feel that he was trying to understand any particular aspect of my work experience. When he later introduced the responsibilities of the position, his explanation was also unclear. He said it was a purchasing assistant role supporting the purchasing manager responsible for strategic affairs, but he could not clearly explain what strategic affairs involved. The only thing he knew was that it had nothing to do with purchasing materials for the factory. He also said that there might be job rotation later. Finally, I asked him once again what the responsibilities of the purchasing manager for strategic affairs were and which parts I would need to assist with, but HR still could not explain. This HR representative said that he had been with the company for seven years, so he was not a novice interviewing me. In summary, it was a damn waste of my time.
