The office is very nice, conveniently located, and the consultant (recruitment agency) was friendly.
Although they were friendly, I can only say that this headhunting firm was extremely unprofessional. Whenever I asked questions, they deliberately gave evasive answers. They contacted me to apply for Position A, but whether it was a dispatched position or a permanent one?? They kept being vague and deliberately refused to explain clearly.
Most outrageous of all, after the interview, the consultant I had been dealing with suddenly said, for some reason, that the opportunity was no longer available, and asked whether I would rather apply directly for a headhunting consultant position at their company (that is, a recruitment consultant role).
WHAT!!! They had repeatedly called and invited me to interview, only to say after I arrived that the opportunity was gone, and then turn it into an application for a consultant position at their company? They completely wasted my time and made me feel deceived.
I don't know whether they were just taking a scattershot approach, actually trying to trick people into submitting résumés, or simply had a serious shortage of staff at their company?? The consultant I spoke with said that the pressure there was extremely high and the turnover rate was very high, but the point is, you contacted me because I was supposed to be applying for Position A, didn't you?
Although the service was friendly throughout, the process was truly outrageous. Thinking back carefully, the entire experience was full of sales tactics: they kept asking me to send them my résumé and insisting that I come to an interview. I don't know what their purpose was, but they really wasted a lot of my time. I have dealt with other headhunters before, but this company was truly unprofessional and very strange.
