The Java position requires on-call duty and involves refactoring a terrible legacy architecture (it’s really awful...). The team consists of only one rookie and you, yet it looks like they intend to offer a low salary.

The interview process probably lasted around two hours, and they didn’t even provide a glass of water—I was nearly dying of thirst.

A company that can’t even be bothered to provide a rejection notice is probably not worth going to. Luckily, I didn’t want to take this crappy job anyway...
