The first interview was relaxed and stress-free, and we could even chat about astrology and food.

The questions in the second interview were all very deep technical questions. Even though I applied for a PM position, they interviewed me as if I were applying for an RD role. They also asked, “What questions did the interviewers ask you in the previous interview?” It had been almost a month since the first interview—who could remember? All I can say is that it was an unbelievably ridiculous interview.

After the second interview, I heard absolutely nothing and had to call them proactively to ask. HR lied and said that the company’s recruitment process had been frozen and that they could only issue me an offer after a month. They also assured me that I would start work two months later, but three months later, I received a rejection letter.

The assignment for the PM position after the first interview was as follows:

1. Please analyze Web Storage’s services.

2. Please suggest what functions or cross-industry services cloud storage services could integrate with.

I conducted an industry analysis and competitive analysis, and also proposed recommendations for new product features. After I submitted the assignment, I waited three months and received only a rejection letter. I strongly suspect that this company simply interviews many experienced candidates and then uses the interviewees as free labor.
