Small company, so you’ll be exposed to all kinds of things. In addition to the work within your original responsibilities, other tasks may also come up, which can help you develop your multitasking abilities.
Simply put, the boss does not respect the value of employees. There are two bosses. One of them is very busy and is almost always out of the office, but still plans to install surveillance cameras in the company (four cameras in a very small space, two of them pointed at employees’ desks, and even telling the vendor that the cameras need to have an “audio recording” function). They also want to be able to view the footage remotely from their phone...
Although everything complies with the Labor Standards Act, employees who take menstrual leave, annual leave, and so on will still be criticized by the boss behind their backs (complaining to other employees or implying that others should not do the same because it is unprofessional, etc.).
In addition, the low salary itself is not really the issue. But even though it is already very low, the company still does not insure employees according to the labor insurance salary brackets. This makes people feel that the company only wants to exploit that tiny bit of money from employees instead of investing in them.
