About parental leave
Due to family circumstances, I needed to take six months of parental leave. At the beginning of the following year, when my parental leave ended, the company said it could not provide a year-end bonus (nor could it provide one on a prorated basis). Rytass said that if I returned to work, they could give me the bonus; if I could not return to work, they could not provide it. It sounded as though there was no problem...
However... needing to take parental leave is a parenting difficulty that parents may encounter. Ultimately, being unable to continue working is also a helpless situation, yet the company said it could not provide the year-end bonus on a prorated basis... It was quite frustrating...
P.S. HR also said, “Then just come back for a day or two, and you’ll be able to get the year-end bonus...” (Should I say that HR is very flexible?! Do they really have to take care of employees in this way?!)
