1. A monthly morning assembly is held; employees must clock in and assemble at 08:08. Those who are late are fined NT$200

2. Official working hours begin at 08:30, but employees must clock in at 08:20 to participate in group exercises; arriving after that counts as being late

3. Employees at job grade 5 or above must rotate as the duty supervisor (morning shift, evening shift, or holiday duty) approximately 2–3 times per year. Morning duty is from 06:20 to 08:30 and pays NT$300; evening duty is from 06:00 to 23:40 and pays NT$600, with work starting at 10:00 the next day; holiday duty is from 09:00 to 18:00 and pays NT$1,000

4. Employees must lead the exercises in rotation. After the exercises, everyone must assemble at attention and chant: “Professional standards; enthusiasm for work; professional ethics”

5. Six Knowledge Growth Days per year (classes held on Saturdays), 3–4 promotion training sessions (classes held on Saturdays), and 1–2 courses organized by the department (classes held on Saturdays). Scheduling is flexible; in principle, completing six sessions is sufficient

7. Sometimes there is a full-company inspection after work. Employees must open their personal backpacks for inspection, and instruments are used to check whether they are carrying any workpieces. Normally, motorcycle storage compartments must be opened for inspection, and car trunks must be opened for inspection when driving

8. Smart phones are not allowed. Anyone caught with one may receive a reprimand or a minor disciplinary demerit, depending on the unit supervisor

9. New employees must be mobilized to travel north to attend the master’s thesis award event (meal allowance: NT$100). This is held once a year, for a total of two times; leave may be requested (Saturday)
