The manager showed absolutely no respect for the interviewee during the interview. Despite asking questions as a matter of courtesy, they still contradicted everything I said from beginning to end, showing no consideration whatsoever. They even said, “I don’t know why you came for a second interview.” I was completely dumbfounded at the time—isn’t it your company’s HR department that called to notify me about the second interview? I had spent a long time preparing, and although I ultimately thought, “Fine, it’s okay that they didn’t look at any of it,” I had sincerely prepared for the interview and spent over an hour traveling each way, twice, only to be criticized with biased comments right from the start by someone who clearly had preconceived notions (before I had even introduced myself). To be honest, I’m not afraid of criticism, but I absolutely cannot accept something so unreasonable. The experience felt truly awful. If they thought I was unsuitable, shouldn’t they have known that during the first interview and from my detailed résumé? Why ask me to come back for a second interview just to reprimand me in person? The entire interview lasted less than ten minutes. I even said thank you when I left, but thinking about it now, I really feel it was completely unnecessary.
