Pros

I was an employee who moved here from a game company. The biggest advantage here is that the bosses give you plenty of autonomy and don’t put you under any particular pressure. The boss is also really good at marketing. Although the compensation isn’t as generous as that offered by foreign companies like Google, it is still quite good compared with ordinary small and medium-sized companies in Taiwan. In addition, the boss really likes to manage by data. Even if your ideas are different, as long as they can make the numbers look good, the boss is willing to let you try them, which is a stark contrast to many of the companies I worked for previously, where managers had strong subjective opinions. If you’re hired as a new employee, study hard and you’ll gain a lot. Former colleagues I knew who left the company either were recruited away or saw their salaries jump significantly, because the skills you learn here—online marketing and advanced Facebook ad operations—are highly sought after by many companies. It’s just that we all really miss the relaxed life we had once we got the hang of the work TT~~~ I kind of want to go back.

Cons

It’s a small company, so you have to be prepared to take on multiple roles. The boss will also ask you to research and get involved in work in different fields. If you prefer a job with a single, narrowly defined set of responsibilities, this position won’t suit you. The company also places great emphasis on data-driven management, so it is relatively results-oriented. The price of freedom is that you are responsible for the results; if the results remain poor, the boss will take action against you, so don’t take this lightly.
