Unless there are significant issues, working hours are on schedule, and the Labor Standards Act is observed.
Few benefits (the general standard in the tech industry is 14 months of pay, while E Ink only offers 13 months), and the salary is not competitive. Don’t expect much from year-end bonuses or profit sharing (unless the company performs exceptionally well, it is usually less than 0.5 months’ pay). Clocking in and out is required; arriving at the company more than 15 minutes late requires taking half an hour of leave.
The work atmosphere depends on the department and supervisor. There are a great many miscellaneous tasks in the R&D units.
