It looks like a foreign company, with an office in Xinyi District, and appears very glamorous, but in reality its systems and culture are extremely low-quality. On some holidays, they give you chocolates and roses and hold small events, but there is no overtime pay, and the underlying mindset is very outdated.
The pay for dispatched workers is very low, but even regular employees are paid extremely poorly. University and master’s degree holders start at around NT$27,000–28,000. Only after passing the probationary period—which is not necessarily three months; they deliberately avoid explaining this clearly—will the salary be reluctantly adjusted to around NT$30,000–32,000. They call the position “consultant” to make it sound better, but it is really disposable sales work with an extremely high turnover rate. They use all kinds of excuses to suppress your salary. Internal staff earn approximately NT$30,000–35,000 as well, and the working hours are extremely long; leaving at eight or nine in the evening is not unusual. There is no overtime pay, the systems are a complete mess, and bonuses and the like are things you can see but never actually receive.
The company’s treatment of dispatched workers aside, it is not very honest even with its own employees, as if it were trying to hide something. In particular, it is somewhat deliberately vague about compensation and benefits, among other systems, seemingly trying to save money wherever possible. During recruitment, it uses sweet talk to lure young people with little social experience into joining. Many discover the reality soon after joining and leave again, but the company does not care.
