The company provides boxed meals for NT$20 per person per meal. You can also go out for 30 minutes at lunchtime.

Base salary plus overtime pay: approximately NT$110–130 per hour (overtime calculated according to the Labor Standards Act).

Small birthday cakes, two days off per week, detailed pay statements, last month's salary deposited on the 6th of each month, no unpaid wages, and a low hiring threshold.

The food factory is in Dounan, Yunlin. Typhoon days are deducted from annual leave or pay. Raises are almost never given, and most employees receive only the Labor Standards Act minimum wage (basic wage), which was approximately NT$21,000 per month in 2017. Daily wages are deducted for leave.

<<<Production Line Operator>>> The production line is noisy, the working environment is poor, turnover is high, and summer is the busy season. The production line gets hot in summer. Safety is not taken seriously. There is a 40-minute lunch break. Most employees are middle-aged or older. The year-end bonus is fixed at one month’s salary (you must have worked for one full year to receive it). Production line supervisors earn approximately NT$24,000. There have been workplace accidents. The company has no on-site medical staff. Machinery and equipment are old and frequently malfunction. Heavy lifting is required. Employees may have to purchase defective products. Equal pay is not provided for equal work. Labor and health insurance premiums are deducted from the base salary. Foreign workers receive some special privileges. Most jobs involve rotation, and some jobs require employees to arrive early in the morning.
