日商佳能_台灣佳能資訊股份有限公司
Pros

Canon Taiwan (Guting) sales

They said over the phone that the monthly salary was NT$28,000–30,000, but in reality it was NT$24,000 + NT$3,000 transportation allowance + NT$800 communication allowance.

It was a sales-call and in-person interview for printers, not cameras.

They called beforehand to explain the job details and salary.

Overall, the interview process felt very organized and respectful toward the interviewee.

The interviews with HR and the sales manager were both very gentle. They emphasized how demanding and exhausting the work was, explained the salary structure, and discussed career development.

However, they also reminded me to remember to sit up straight and turn up my collar.

It felt very warm!

However, during the third interview with the HR manager, they suddenly announced the salary: NT$24,000 plus allowances, which only came close to NT$28,000, and kept pressing me, asking whether I could accept it.

“Can you accept it?” I paused for a few seconds and replied that I would like to respond the following week.

As a result, HR immediately changed their attitude and said they needed an answer the next day.

They abruptly stood up and left.

The interview lasted only about one-third of the time planned...

In short, this company has the rules of a Japanese company (no jeans or short skirts) but the compensation of a Taiwanese company.
