For a marketing position at a local Taiwanese company, the salary is considered quite good. The difference between graduating from a university and graduating from graduate school is reflected in the salary and job title.
1. The company is internally rigid and outdated, with little change, and cannot keep up with the pace of changes in information technology. At present, the prospects do not look good.
2. There is a strong culture of working overtime. Inefficient practices result in a great deal of time being wasted on repetitive tasks that could be replaced by robots. During peak season, leaving close to midnight is a given; even during the off-season, the average departure time is around eight or nine.
3. There are colleagues who bully newcomers and have poor emotional management, but the supervisors turn a blind eye. New hires keep leaving. As long as you can endure it, becoming a team lead within two years is no problem, because no one can stick it out. Haha.
4. Many people in the company are NTU alumni, and there are many smart people. If you are the type who succeeds through hard work, you will have a very difficult time here.
