Punctual working hours
1. The company’s organizational structure changes every few days. Today you are responsible for Client A, and next week it becomes Client B. The division of responsibilities between departments is also unclear. Especially when a department messes up, because it has strong backing, other departments end up taking the blame—you can get caught in the crossfire even while doing nothing.
2. This is a company with a 20-year history, yet fewer than half of the non-production-line full-time employees have been here for at least one year. In one unit, someone with eight months’ tenure is already considered a veteran. As a result, everyone is new and out of the loop. Even clients find the turnover unbelievably high because the people assigned to handle them are constantly being replaced.
3. There are far too many pointless meetings. Sometimes, even decisions reached in meetings with clients are later denied by a certain department on the grounds that they “didn’t know,” effectively pretending the matter never happened. This angers the clients and leaves other departments to clean up the mess.
4. You still have to reply on LINE after work, and the same applies on holidays. If you don’t reply, people will even criticize you for it.
5. Work procedures are constantly changing. Today you are told to use Method A, and before long you are told to use Method B. Everything you did before becomes wasted effort, and you may even be sarcastically told, “I was just giving you a direction—you need to use your brain!”
6. Salaries are generally low. Infighting among senior management is severe, yet they assume no one knows who is behind it. They are too cowardly to send emails themselves and instead make others send, under their own names, whatever they dictate, thinking this is clever. They only dare reply to emails when it concerns trivial matters.
If all you talented people out there think this kind of environment sounds like fun, our company welcomes you to join us!
