This “used to be” a good company. The advantages are that it is relatively stable, the working hours are not long, and the pay is above average.
However, some problems have emerged over the past year or two, for example:
1. The original service has reached a bottleneck. Coupled with the company’s long-standing tendency to favor management to an extreme degree, its existing business has remained stagnant. The company’s senior management has been racking its brains to develop new models, such as communities and social movements, but the results have been very limited.
2. Performance reviews are conducted entirely by supervisors and are not necessarily fair. Even if you meet all your KPIs, your supervisor can still give you an inexplicable rating for reasons they themselves cannot articulate.
3. As mentioned above, doing well here and contributing to the company does not mean you will be promoted. When a position becomes available, the company often parachutes someone in from outside. Eventually, you become so disheartened that you have no choice but to leave.
