“Performance” should be evaluated based on how much you accomplish and how well you do it. But at this company, performance reviews have become a score based on “seniority” and “impressions”!
Then, those who can pretend to be busy do so, and those who can pretend to be obedient do so. They act one way in front of their supervisors and another way behind their supervisors’ backs, and the work is never finished!
People who can solve problems quickly are then considered idle and slacking off. I’d like to ask: Does a company’s atmosphere really have to be completely lifeless for it to be considered a growing company? How backward is that?
