Even when the boss’s proposals are obviously terrible, the managers attending the meetings simply nod along and agree. They even have the nerve to say they want professional talent, when in reality they don’t need professionals at all—just people who know how to flatter others and talk big. The marketing team is also thoroughly unprofessional, the kind of amateurs who leave you completely speechless. They act as if the company is wealthy and powerful, but it is all just superficial posturing—extremely shallow. Everything focuses solely on numbers, without seeking to understand the meaning behind the marketing figures. Without understanding what lies behind them, the work will never improve, even after a lifetime.
