The chairman is someone who often contradicts himself when he speaks, leaving people confused. During training, he talks about being very open-minded and liberal, but when it comes to actually doing things, if they are not done according to his wishes, he strongly objects or demands corrections. Yes, he is indeed a senior and someone higher up in the hierarchy, but this way of doing things will discourage people with ambition or those willing to challenge themselves and try different approaches, and may even cause them to doubt themselves. He uses extreme tones and wording to let you know: “I would never let you do that,” “That’s just lousy,” “No one does things that way anymore,” and “What kind of crappy thing is that?” Similarly, some of the department heads in the travel-route divisions are birds of a feather, with rather rigid minds and little flexibility. And as the friend above mentioned, the company is very reluctant to provide resources and benefits to employees—it wants the horse to run well but not eat grass. The company’s products are mediocre: the routes go to many places, but none of them are covered with much depth. They are simply very traditional, unchanging travel products. It cannot be denied that they still have a stable market, but can they really keep relying on this same formula to get by everywhere? I have my doubts!
For job seekers who are mainly looking to gain work experience or use the company as a stepping stone, this is actually not a bad place in some respects~ There is a base salary~ Lots of annoying things~ And it is easy to encounter many jaw-dropping situations that help you grow~
